CHOOSE DEATH ... as a living.

This project was for the Roses competition and the brief was to encourage school leavers to join the funeral industry. I haven't convinced myself but I did learn some interesting facts. Did you know that embalming fluid is pink? It's so you look healthy when they pump it into you.

Anyway my submission includes an invitation which would fall out of careers magazines and other publications of that sort to advertise a forthcoming lecture on 'an introduction to funeral directing'. The rest is a poster and a booklet that would accompany the lecture.

European flag

This is my submission for the design a new european flag contest.

Amazing, is it not? Rather too flower power, I think for the EU.

But what the heck. It's free to enter and I can say I'm on a website.

my modelling debut

Okay so this is really a look at my friend's website but I am on there twice

because of a magazine collaboration, and on the first page of the site!

I don't think I'll be getting a lot of modeling work from this but Kerry's work is very good.

Okay so I haven't blogged for ages! Unis been hectic. Really hectic. But I'm getting back into it.

So here's probably one of the only things I've done that hasn't been for competitions. Two record sleeves, one for a real band and another for an imaginary one. I think you can probably guess which is which.

So this is what I spent most of my time at Spiff doing besides my Dad's stationary and logo stuff (will come later). It's a label for a bitter called Aviator (I didn't choose the name) but I quite like the outcome. Better pictures will come.

Hey Good-Looking, What's Cooking?

okay so I haven't blogged for a while, I'm blaming my bro and xbox live for using up our net allowance, nuff sed about that.

So this is my first piece of design that is actually out there! 

I thought I should record such a momentous occasion with a short post.

It's a menu for a coffee shop called Cuckoos.

The pictures only show the outside because that is what I did, the inside was done by the boss at one of my placements though I did a lot of the typesetting. I don't want anyone looking at this to be disillusioned by my design skills (or lack of). 

So here it is in all it's glory.
